Still love speckled dice~

I remember when speckled dice hit the market years and years ago. They were such a huge craze--now with blended colors and vortex and borealis, the Chessex Speckled line tends to get ignored in favour of less garish combos, but I can't help love the continued production of speckled dice.

These have that same heavy weight you've come to expect from Chessex. Some people like it, some people don't. For me, it really depends on the playing situation.

The edges are smooth and there are no noticeable defects on the dice.

The colors? Bold! I love them! The purple and black blend is mysterious, brooding, dark--I plan to use them for a dragon born wizard in a future campaign. I think they'd fit any dark and brooding, magical character!

The only reason I give these a four instead of a 5 is the inking! The bronze/gold is BEAUTIFUL and super legible! Easy to read! That said, it is chipped in many places and not evenly applied. Kind of a bummer. :(

Still, very playable, very legible, and super fun! And at this price? They can't be beat!
