Chessex Lab Dice IV (Heavy Orange/Turquoise)

The mad scientists at Chessex are back with Lab Dice Series IV! This Heavy orange dice set comes in a complete 7-piece polyhedral set with a bonus Lab d6!

So what exactly are Heavy dice? Well, the mad scientists developed a phenomenal plastic acrylic that is super dense and much heavier than normal plastic. The end result is dice that feel heavy in the hand with a heft reminiscent of metal dice.

Chessex Lab Dice IV are a great experiment! To determine what dice the company will later produce as part of their normal catalog, Chessex is releasing six special sets of dice in a limited production run. The best selling dice will later be incorporated in their product lineup. The others will no longer be produced. If you like a particular color, this may be your only chance to grab a set. All the dice in this limited, fourth series release comes in a promotional "test tube" with the Chessex Lab Dice label.

The perfect heavy

I am sad that Chessex no longer makes these Heavy dice, grab them while you can. The weight is about half way between regular dice and metal dice and unlike metal dice they won’t put dents or dings in your table. Beware ordering them on Amazon, you may not get “new” dice and they may be missing some pieces.

Love the Heavier Dice

The dice feel great in your hand and you feel like you are really rolling something. Since they aren't metal, crystal, or stone I don't have to worry about them. Exactly what I was looking for. If you want to feel like your rolls matter without having to treat your dice like they will shatter if they touch each other (or in the case of metal die, break anything you roll them on) get this set.

Awesome Dice

I picked these due to the bright color, wanted some dice to stand out. Once I started rolling them I fell in love. If Chessex would make some more heavy dice I would definitely buy them.
