German Packaging Act (VerpackG)
Sadly, due to the German Packaging Act (VerpackG) put in force on July 1, 2022, Dark Elf Dice can no longer ship parcels to Germany due to:
- License fees
- Complexities associated with the Act
- Data reporting requirements
- Threats of severe penalties of up to 200,000 euros for non-compliance
We're a small family business, and have many German friends and customers we've served faithfully since we opened our doors in 2005. Unfortunately, compliance with the German Packaging Act is not worth the effort, expense, or fear of reprisal from the German government and we have no other option but to stop shipping parcels to Germany.
