Since 2005, Dark Elf Dice has been actively involved in the tabletop roleplaying game community. We not only offer one of the world's best selections of DnD dice and gaming supplies, but we're now happy to provide a free collection of Dungeons and Dragons 5e character sheets for download and personal use. Working with the talented artist Goldelocks, we commissioned fun character sheets with original Dungeons and Dragons art to really make the sheets pop and bring your characters to life.
Goldelocks illustrations are playful and vibrant, and help capture the fun of tabletop gaming. We currently have 10 character sheets available in a variety classes and DnD races, and hope to add more printable sheets in the future.

Catfolk Monk | Free DnD Character Sheet
Catfolk (also known as Tabaxi in Dungeons and Dragons 5e) are catlike humanoids known for their inquisitiveness and curiosity. Tabaxi were introduced to Fifth Edition in Volo's Guide To Monsters and make for outstanding Monks, Rogues, and any character class that relies on Dexterity due to their innate +2 DEX bonus.

Dragonborn Cleric | Free DnD Character Sheet
Dragonborn are one of the most popular DnD 5e characters to play, and it's no wonder. First introduced in the Player's Handbook and then expanded upon in Fizban's Treasury of Dragons, the Dragonborn are versatile and make a welcome addition to just about any adventuring party. Strong, resilient, and capable of using a breath weapon, Dragonborn are simply fun to play.

Drow Ranger | Free DnD Character Sheet
The Drow (also known as Dark Elves!) are the elven race inhabitants of the Underdark -- an underground network of tunnels and caverns that create an entire, subterranean world. In original D&D lore, the Drow were evil creatures, but have since been updated in Fifth Edition as a playable race of any alignment. The Drow have superior darkvision and an awesome Dexerity bonus that's best utilized for dex-based characters including Rangers, Rogues, etc.

Dwarf Paladin | Free DnD Character Sheet
The Dwarf is one of the prototypical races in Dungeons and Dragons. Tough as dragon hide and just as resilient, dwarves are great to play and take the mantle of many different DnD character classes, including the Paladin -- one of the best front-line melee classes in the game. Combining a dwarf's toughness with a Paladin's stalwart fighting and buff abilities makes a dangerous, and much needed combination for any adventuring group.

Elf Fighter | Free DnD Character Sheet
Just like the Dwarf, the Elf is a quintessential player character race in Dungeons and Dragons. In some earlier editions of the game, Elves were typically relegated to the spellcaster role (especially High Elves) or the thief (high Dexterity). In Fifth Edition however, the Elf makes a great finesse Fighter due to their innate DEX bonus and Perception proficiency. The fact that the Fighter no longer has to rely primarily on Strength adds a lot of flexibility to the Elf and the DnD party as a whole.

Half-Elf Bard | Free DnD Character Sheet
The Half-Elf is an intriguing Dungeons and Dragons character race -- with elvish and human ancestry, the Half-Elf belongs to two worlds at once. Half-Elves are very flexible and can be used for many different character classes. One of the favorites is the Bard due to a fantastic +2 Charisma score bonus plus an additional +1 bonus to another ability. In earlier DnD editions, Bards were under-powered. Things changed in 5e however. Bards make effective fighters (both melee and range), and their access to powerful spells can buff and sustain a party during dangerous encounters.

Half-Orc Barbarian | Free DnD Character Sheet
The Half-Orc Barbarian is arguably the fiercest Dungeons and Dragons melee fighter in the game. With the Half-Orc's natural strength, and the Barbarian's Rage ability, a fearsome combination is born to rule the battlefield. In the 5e Player's Handbook, Half-Orcs are blessed with a +2 Strength and a +1 Constitution Ability score increase. The Barbarian class is a natural fit.

Human Wizard | Free DnD Character Sheet
In Dungeons and Dragons, the Human is the most versatile of all the races. With a +1 Ability score increase and a Feat at 1st level, Humans can be used to fill all character classes to great effect. If a Human wishes to be a Wizard, Intelligence is a must. The other abilities are up to the player's discretion, however a good Constitution should be considered to help a Wizard not be so squishy. Human Wizards can be extremely powerful at later levels -- but they have to survive the rigors and danger of adventure first!

Tiefling Warlock | Free DnD Character Sheet
The Tiefling is one of the core races in Dungeons and Dragons 5e. Although Tieflings have a frightening visage (horns, tails, and sharp teeth), they are not inherently evil. In fact, in the world of DnD, Tieflings can be of any alignment. Sadly, even Lawful Good Tieflings are looked upon with mistrust and suspicion by some due to their outward appearance.
The Warlock is a natural character class choice for Tieflings because of the following Ability score bonuses: +2 Charisma (the most important stat for Warlocks) and a +1 Intelligence.

Yuan-ti Rogue | Free DnD Character Sheet
The Yuan-ti are a fascinating, playable Dungeons and Dragons race. Sometimes known as serpent folk, Yuan-ti can be either monstrous and slithering snake-beings or bipedal humanoid Purebloods. In fact, a Yuan-ti Pureblood may even pass for a human at a distance or in dim light.
Yuan-ti have a +2 Charisma and a +1 Intelligence. Due to a lack of a DEX bonus, a Rogue may seem an odd choice for a Yuan-ti. That being said, the world of Dungeons and Dragons is a wide open landscape. Not all Rogues are DEX based, and in fact, with the bonus Charisma score, a Yuan-ti makes an excellent Mastermind capable of using Persuasion to influence others -- a great choice for campaigns with lots of intrigue and social interactions.
